"I think maybe we'd know it already," he answers. The Upside Down is different from some of the other things Darrow has thrown at them. It's a world with a vested interest in this girl right in front of him and he thinks, if it existed, it would have tried to come for her already.

But they've been safe and he's not sorry about that.

"Between you and some of the other folks here, I feel like you'd sense it or something," he says.
