"Yes," she says, tone hardening a little. Stan had told her about kids at school who would try to pick on her. She hadn't missed the suggestion that it'd be for being his friend. If this is one of them, she'll stop him immediately. She's not afraid.

But then something clicks. Stan has mentioned 'Richie' before. His friend from home. Her shoulders relax and the suspicion leaves her eyes.

"You know Stan," she echoes back at him.
