Eleven

Eleven hesitates, then reaches for his wrist. If he's from before the dance, then he'll still have it. Slowly, she rolls the cuff of his jacket back, out of the way, so she can see it for herself. In that moment, nothing is more important than learning whether he's still wearing the blue hair band that he'd given to her.

In that moment, El wants to know, for sure, that this other girl hasn't taken her place.
